Celebrate at Norwood's Home for the Holidays

The Norwood Fire Department has been notified by sources at the North Pole that Santa will make a visit to check on "who has been naughty and nice" by attending Norwood's third annual Home for the Holidays Parade on Sunday, December 18.
Fire departments and first aide corps from the Northern Valley and Rockland County area with their vehicles decorated in holiday splendor will assemble along Kensington Avenue for the line march.
Stepping off at 5 p.m., the route of the march can be enjoyed as it passes along Kensington Avenue, to Summit Street, to Hudson Avenue, arriving at the Clock Tower at Hudson Avenue and Livingston Street at approximately 5:40 p.m.
x Upon Santa's arrival at the Clock Tower aboard the Norwood Fire Department's vintage fire truck he will join Mayor Barsa and other special guests in welcoming all residents in attendance. The choir of Norwood's Chodae Church will entertain with selected seasonal favorites. At the conclusion of the "Welcome Home Ceremony," Santa will lead the parade to the fire house on Broadway, where all are welcomed to join Santa for holiday refreshments.
Once again, entertainment at Santa's reception will be provided by the Norwood Public School Band as all enjoy the festive celebration of "Returning Home for the Holidays."
